About role

You pick orders from a paper list and a hand scanner, check quantities against the delivery note, and move pallets with a hand pallet truck to the dispatch lanes. Goods receipt means unloading trucks, checking seals and packaging, and putting stock away in the racking by location code. You wrap finished pallets on a stretch machine, label them and stage them at the correct dock. Shifts run 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00 on a weekly rotation, and you report to the leader of your shift.
